Elston Howard had 4 hits and 3 RBI as the Adamantine Hegari defeated the Buzai Hu Too in 10 innings by a score of 16 to 13 at Fenway Park '67.

The score was tied at 13 after nine. Adamantine won it in the 10th inning. Ryne Sandberg opened up the scoring as he blasted a solo shot (his 12th of the season). After an out was recorded, Orlando Cepeda stepped in and he stroked a base-hit. After another out, Rico Petrocelli stepped in and he drew a walk. Darryl Strawberry followed and he tripled driving home another two teammates. Adamantine bats were very productive in the 9th inning when they had 8 runs on 9 hits. This was a game of many highs and lows for the home town fans, as the lead kept changing - 5 times in all.

The win went to Dale Murray(2-1) who allowed 2 runs in 2 innings. Murray was helped out by Dennis Eckersley who recorded his 8th save. The loss was charged to Ken Sanders(0-4) in relief. He was knocked around, surrendering 5 runs in 2 innings.
