Willie McCovey smashed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Buzai Hu Too rallied impressively to win in dramatic style over San Francisco Howlin' Poets, 9 to 8.

Buzai scored the decisive runs in a big 9th inning scoring 2 runs using 2 hits. After an out was recorded, McCovey got things rolling when he smashed a solo-shot out of the park (his 40th of the season). Stan Musial stepped up next and he hit a bases-empty home run (his 29th of the season) making Buzai the victor and beginning a joyous home town celebration. Overall Buzai out-hit San Francisco 15 to 11.

Johnny Miljus(4-1) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 1 and 1/3 innings. Lee Smith(7-6) was the loser in relief. He served up 3 gopher balls in 2 and 2/3 innings.

'What a game!,' Miljus said afterward. 'When we won it I almost couldn't believe it!'
