Rocky Colavito hit for the cycle as the New York Gothams rallied impressively to win in dramatic style over The Wrong Stuff, 32 to 31.

A hugely decisive outburst by New York in the 9th inning quieted any The Wrong hopes for a victory showing no mercy on The Wrong as they plated 10 runs on 9 hits. The crucial at-bat was provided by Toby Harrah, who brought a roar from the partisan Stars Park (NeL) fans when he hit a single which was good for two runs. New York bats were hot in the 3rd inning with 11 runs on 8 hits and the 9th inning when they had 10 runs on 9 hits. A wild and woolly affair, this game saw the lead change 7 times.

Joe Sambito(5-0) got the win allowing 9 runs in 3 innings. The losing pitcher was Dave Tomlin(5-2) in relief. He allowed 13 hits and 3 walks in 3 and 2/3 innings.

'Now there is a lesson in perseverance for you,' Colavito noted. 'It was looking pretty dim there for a while, but we just kept plugging away and it really paid off in spades! And it was great to see the crowd go crazy there at the end!'
